Endocervical cell mean what?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lining of cervix: The uterine cervix is lined by squamous epithelium on the outside, but the canal of the cervix is lined by columnar cells and these cells are called endocervical cells. See this site for more info. http://www.health.gov.au/internet/screening/publishing.nsf/content/results.
