Caution: Certain allergy pills such as traditional antihistamines (like benadryl) can lead to drowsiness and impaired reaction time. Adding alcohol can worsen these side effects. This is less likely to occur with the newer generation antihistamines. For significant allergies, a topical nasal corticosteroid spray is more effective for relief and no worries with wine!
