Hopefully,: You and your husband can stay calm about the situation and address the trust issues with a good marriage therapist. It is not common, but it is possible for symptoms to remain dormant for many years - as long as 20! so, you both need to work through the "trust" and "fidelity" thing like many couples do. But you also need treatment - so get that under control asap. Then, work on the relationship.
