Have : Ur pphysician look for an abdominal/ventral hernia. If your abdominal wall is not tight enough, indeed you can feel your abdomen expand as the stomach expands too. Simple to check: lie down flat and just lift you head only. If the abdomen distends, bulges u have it. Any previous abdominal surgeries?
