Cephalosporins: You should avoid all cephalosporin antibiotics ie. Vantin, Ceftin, (cefuroxime) Suprax, Rocephin, Ancef, Fortaz, Cefepime etc. There is a low risk of cross allergenicity with penicillin antibiotics. If you had immediate hypersensitivity- hives, anaphylaxis or laryngeal edema, avoid penicillin class drugs.
