What are the risk factors for arthritis osteoporosis and injuries from falls?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

depends: Not sure what you mean by arthritis osteoporosis. Rheumatoid arthritis and its treatment with steroids decreases bone density and strength (osteoporosis) and increases risk of fractures. Being elderly, having low sodium, family history of hip fracture and excessive alcohol intake also increase risk of osteoporosis and broken bones.
