Forget the sardines.: You do have a life, and regarding friends, you need to start somewhere. With a question like yours, i sense the need for therapy from a local therapist. Start to feel better about yourself, and you will have more friends than you know what to do with (although you only really need a few good ones). All the best...

Loneliness: It's very human to feel lonely, and good to recognize it when we do. The question is what we choose to do about it. Online communications can provide some connection with others, but it can't replace live human relationships in everyday life. It takes time to develop authentic friendships, plus often the willingness to be the one to reach out first. Being truly interested in others helps too.

Sardines and health: Sardines are healthy for you, but feeling you have no life and no friends is very unhealthy. You may be suffering from a depression, and i recommend you talk to your doctor about this to see what is wrong.

Friendships: You reached out here on healhtap and found some doctor friends who answered you because we actually care about you and your well being. That was pretty easy, wasn't it? While slightly more difficult, if you reach out to others in the real world, you will find even more people who care about you. That's how you begin a friendship. You have to try and you will be rewarded. Take a few chances.
