Labs show serum albumin 3.9 (ref. Range 3.5-5.5)and globulin at 1.9 range (1.5-4.5) but says total serum protein low at 5.8 range(6.0-8.5) what gives?
Fasted for cholestrol test. Potassium was in low range. Lab stated my serum globulin was low snd out of normal range. Worried but could fasting have affected results? Thank you so much?
My Globulin (serum) result was 3.69 g/dL and the Albumin (serum) result was 4.11 g/dL. Lab amounts were 2.50-3.50 for Globulin should I be worried?
Lab Test interpretation....Protein Serum 5.7 Globulin Cal 1.2 A/G Ration 3.8...ALT 45.....Note AST was normal at 24....I have gained about -18 pounds in a year...Ultrasound showed normal liver slightly fat....all other blood work normal?
