A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unlikely: Generally, an interval DEXA scan is not suggested for a minimum of 18 to 24 months. Certainly a mistake is always possible... 1. Was this done on the same DEXA machine? 2. Same locations and technician? As such, your replacement with strontium appears to have helped build bone mass and that's why you see an improvement.
