Exam: Depending on how long ago you had a baby? Could be complication in healing from delivery? Or could be cyst, skin tag, any number of things. This needs an exam, though, especially given that it hurts and is red. Need to rule out infection. Likely benign, but have a doctor take a look. Could be a leftover suture that needs to be cut from doctor sewing at delivery if that was an issue?
