Have you found success using dbt in treating ocd over the erp approach?

Different therapies: It's tempting to compare acronyms -- but dialectical behavioral therapy (dbt) is completely different from erp (exposure ; response prevention), and is done for entirely different purposes. They are not interchangeable. Dbt combines mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. If someone needs these skills, dbt may help greatly. Ocd needs are different.

Some surely do: Different methods work better for different people. Both approaches have had success in treating this very challenging condition. Here'd a good article on it. http://www.socialworktoday.com/archive/102708p22.shtml good luck!
