To,observe: Likely benign post inflammatory granulomas and will calcify over time. Regular cts for a few years will establish this. . Prior exposure ? Histoplasmosis , farming, digging etc do not be a smoker!

Yes: Many causes including metastatic cancer. Do you have history of cancer? Breast, colon, prostrate and bladder most common. Also non cancerous conditions like hamartomas, sarcoidosis, rhemautoid nodules, infectious conditions, lymphomas and kaposis sarcomas etc. Please, see a pulmonologist if this is a new finding. Keep an eye on it: Lung nodules such as yours are probably a reactive process following an earlier infection of the lung. Those nodules should be looked at again in a second ct after a few month interval. If they grow at all a biopsy would be warranted. If they remain unchanged i would suggest they be looked at again with a repeat ct in about a year just to be safe.
