can stress, anxiety, and elevated heart rate from emotional confrontations cause hems to develop and or rupture? also, does elev. hrt rate increase bp?

Dr. Pamela Pappas
41 years experience Psychiatry
Hemorrhoids: Are more often related to severe and chronic constipation, straining at stool, obesity, pregnancy, anal intercourse, and low-fiber diet. Heart rate and blood pressure can increase during times of stress and anxiety. But elevated heart rate is not the cause of increased bp. Psychologists and psychiatrists can help you with stress and anxiety.
