Yes, becuase...: A high TSH is considered a sign of hypothyroidism, in fact many specialists feel any TSH above 3 is cause for concern. The important question is your level of thyroid hormones (esp. Free t3) ; if you have any symptoms of hypothyroidism- see http://bit.Ly/14aneey if your levels are fine ; you have no symptoms you may not need treatment but this should be monitored as you are at risk- see comment:.
