Nevus sebaceous: This is probably a lesion that was present at or shortly after birth. At the time of puberty, hormones often make the lesion become more raised and it develops an orange color. These lesions may remain unchanged for a lifetime, but they can develop tumors such as basal cell carcinoma and syringocystadenoma papilliforum. If it is changing, see a dermatologist for a biopsy.
