1st day M bleeding: I believe your question is to know how you start counting last menstrual cycle so that you want to know the regularity of cycle. Average menstrual bleeding ranges 4-6days, it differs in different school of taught.Suppose you finish menstrual bleeding on 4th day, then your last menstrual bleeding LMP started 1st day of your menstrual bleeding and from that we calculate due date for pregnant ladies.
