I started wellbutrin (bupropion) 5 days ago and getting joint pain & tremors from it ; i know i have sle but this is different. should it be stopped if i have the pain/tremors or do i give it more time?

Let doc know ASAP: Joint pain with wellbutrin (bupropion) is listed as. Common, but I have not found it often in my practice. Given the fact that you have sle, i looked up data on recovery from it. A review at www. Ehealthme.Com showed that this side effect did not go away. Most of the people had it within the first six months, with 46% within the first month. It was moderate joint pain for most. No one unfortunately recovered.

Wellbutrin (bupropion): Stop it and see whether the symptoms are going away. Notify your doctor that you stopped this medication, you might need alternative medications.
