A member asked:

I am suffering from sarcoidosis since 2004. presently i am on 5 mg predsilone . i want to know i should continue or stop taking it?

Not on your own: The dose you are on is small, and you may be near that tome. The time to get off steroids depends on how well controlled your disease is. It is based on symptoms, potential side effects of your treatment and disease activity. Your doctor may have a plan on how to follow up if you get off steroids. So do discuss with your doc.
