My inner ear is itchy and the back of my throat what could be causing this?

Ear itching: Allergic rhinitis is caused by allergy to pollens and other airborne allergens. The nose filters out these allergens and they are swept back toward the throat by cillia. These pollens trapped in mucious pass over the ear canal openings and down the throat were they can cause itching.
