More info: It's possible but unlikely you're in the perimenopause. Unless early menopause runs in your family, it's likely hormonal or due to lesion in uterus. Average age menopause is 51, so 43 quite early. You may want to see gyn md for consultation. Check thyroid, ultrasound and consider biopsy of uterus. It's unlikely, but at 43 if you have more than 1 period a month biopsy may be necessary.
