will my kids have prognathism?

Not necessarily: An extended (protruding) jaw can be part of the normal facial shape a person is born with. It can also be caused by inherited conditions. It may develop over time in children or adults. It is appropriate to see a dentist or orthodontist to treat abnormal alignment of the jaw and teeth. Your kid's doctor should be involved to check for any underlying medical associatecd with prgnathism.

How can I keep my kids healthy during the summer?
1 doctor answer • 4 doctors weighed in

Dr. Cornelia Franzanswered
Specializes in Pediatrics
Food and play: Most children are healthier during the summer because they are out of school, relaxed, and playing. Diet is #1. Feeding as much fresh food as you can. As much organic as you can afford. Fruits and berries help boost the immune system as well. Elderberry twice a week is a good preventative. Drinking water to stay hydrated. Also have their vit d levels checked. Level of 50-70 is desired.

In order to answer..: ....A question about how to make something healthier, we must first know what's in it now. A smoothie as pretty much anything you throw in a blender, often vegetables, fruits and yogurt. The best way to make a healthy smoothie is to include healthy ingredients. Emphasize the veggies and keep it low fat.

To many to list: With only 400 characters to use i can not list all the germs that can be harmful to kids. Some are opportunists, can exist on your skin surface & not cause problems but if a cut opens the skin will cause an abscess or blood poisoning(staph, strep, others). Some are trouble if ever inhaled(anthrax spores) some can enter your brain thru your nasal skin(amoeba, meningitis)too many to say>.

Is a mobile phone radiation harmfull for kids?
1 doctor answer • 1 doctor weighed in

Dr. Michael H. T. Siaanswered
Pediatrics 31 years experience
So far no...: Cell phones emit radiofrequency energy-non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation, which can be absorbed by tissues closest to where the phone is held.Studies have not shown a consistent link between cell phone use and cancers of the brain, nerves, or other tissues of the head or neck. More research is needed because cell phone technology and how people use cell phones have been changing rapidly.
