My almost 5 month old ebf baby has a 100.8 fever. been a little fussy today but nothing else going on. could it be teething or should i take him in?

See pediatrician: I believe you need to see pediatrician, after you lower down the fever with Motrin suspension. I hope vaccination is up to date!

What other sx ?: Fever @ a 100.8 level is common in infants with a wide variety of minor and some significant illnesses. I find tylenol (acetaminophen) can give comfort & take a degree off a temp, but any resolution will be the illness going thru its cycles.If baby is playing some & taking fluids well enough to wet every 6hrs, u may be able to ride this out at home. If quiet, taking poorly etc. Call in & or see the dr.
