VP shunt: "it needs service that's why making noise" jk. Unlikely that vp shunt is causing your symptoms. Please see internist or ENT dr.

Something else: Implanted shunt generally have slow flows, and are not audible. The ringing can be caused by any number of issues. Check with your neurologist, family doctor, or suurgeon about your concrens and they can provide more information.
