Can dementia cause dizziness?

Sort of: There are many causes of dementia, including some we don't normally think of, such as vitamin deficiency, stroke, or brain tumor. Some of these diseases can cause dizziness in addition to dementia. More typically, dizziness does not accompany dementia. Dizziness can be a separate problem from dementia, or might help pinpoint an underlying cause for both.
