Throat pain: While i seriously doubt that this would affect your thyroid levels you do need to be evaluated if the pain continues. Questions that i would ask would include does the pain stay in your neck or doesn't radiate into your shoulders or into your arms. Also are you having difficulty swallowing. If the answer to any of these questions is yes you should seek help immediately.
