Buucospan diarrhea: Butylscopolamine — is a peripherally acting antimuscarinic, anticholinergic agent used as an abdominal-specific antispasmodic. It is marketed under the trade name buscopan by boehringer ingelheim gmbh, germany. Although it should cause constipation, it has been reported to cause diarrhea on occasion, which would be a paradoxical reaction. Please contact your physician for further advice as to what to do.
