Postoperative pain: Pain after laparoscopic surgery can be located in the abdomen, can cause feeling of abdominal gas pressure, can be pain at incision sites, and pain on the upper shoulders due to irritation of the diaphragm. Use the prescribed pain medications & walk around. These pains resolve over a few days. If the pains are getting worse or associated with vomiting or fever, call your surgeon.
