Don't exactly know -: About this medication/rub you mentioned ( lubrisyn) but sounds okay for rubbing it on the joint for the pain relief ( if it comes as a cream/rub). Its name would indicate its for lubricating a joint ( like the glucosamine + chondroiton sulfate). I haven't heard of it or come across it. Maybe take it to your pcp, who'll confirm it for you. I am sure your pharmacist will be also be able to help.
