I am taking 5mm crestor every other day because years ago i had severe joint issues. by taking it every other day, so far my body has been able to tolerate it. how long would it need to be in my system before the severe joint issues start? thanks?

Joint pain and memory fog are common symptoms of statins. They occur within 2-3 days of starting the medication and typically go away about 24-48 hours after discontinueing use. Every other day use for longer than a week should establish whether these symptoms will still occur at the lower dose. If past 1 week, typically the symptoms won't appear later.
