Desire to Know: There is probably not a specific answer to that question. But there is an increasing tendency for women to want to know more about their own bodies so they search for endometriosis more. Also more and more women are seeking care for pain symptoms (as opposed to ignoring it) and so as part of an evaluation they are more likely to find out.
