A member asked:

Potassium after ten hour fasting was 3.4? should i be concerned or does that have to do with the fastening?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

3.4 Potassium: Your potassium (k) of 3.4 is probably inconsequential. You lost some k in your urine during your fast and not not ingesting k due to your fast. If you are still concerned, repeat your blood work.
