Steroids: Hello, steroid medication is used to decrease inflammation and thus hopefully speed your recovery. They are used commonly however i'm not sure i know enough about your symptoms to adequately predict a response the steroids would render. Discuss this with your doctor and see what his/her expectations are with the steroid medication.
