Many causes: It is commonly elevated in ovarian cancer. But it can go up from any reason which causes irritation of the peritoneal lining of your abdomen which includes some benign conditions too. It depends on the level and also if it is going up steadily or staying elevated but stable and not increasing. Your gynecologist can help you to sort it out.
