Tip of my nose bone is sore why?

Trauma or: If you hit your nose, would be traumatic. If it is red, could be a pimple or infection. The tip of the nose is comprised of cartilage, not bone. Not impossible to have a lesion inside lining or cartilage of the nose. If longer than a week see ENT doc.
