Vein: Hand has a lot of superficial veins. Sometimes they are traumatized by routine things we do. This small vein can clot off and occasionally calcify. They often occur in locations that sustain a lot of use or minor trauma. Try padding the area with a bandaide. If it continues to hurt, they sometimes need to be removed.
