Yes: It depends on your body type to start with. If you have legs with fat, then you can get a slimming effect with stair climbing, however, you may get an appearance of getting larger first as the underlying muscles increase in size as the fat burns of slower. Stair climbing has tons of benefits either way and can increase your cardiac health. Climb on and the legs will sort themselves out.
