Probably: If you've been diagnosed with a grade II sprain then presumably your treating physician has given you an appropriate brace for your leg, in which case it should be safe to climb stairs. Hard to predict whether that will be painful or not, but if the brace is secure then you should be ok. Check in with your treating physician if you still have questions.
