Should you extricate victims from crash?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If possible: The risks to the victim include bleeding from injury, crushing impairing breathing and the risk of the vehicles catching fire. If possible and relatively safe, get them out of these. Another issue is that the cause of some crashes follow an event like a heart attack which may also need to been addressed.
