Can naval piercing cause cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Generally no.: Superficial / cosmetic body piercings (of the naval or other area) are not generally associated with any increase risk of cancer. Piercings can become secondarily inflamed and/or infected and should be kept clean but do not predispose to malignancy.
