A little long: Usually if a nerve has pressure on it and you remove the compression the region should regain normal sensation rather quickly. If this becomes a normal thing.Lid consult with a doctor.

Asleep: You don't state if you removed the pressure and it is still asleep . If so , seeing a doc is the first best thing to do. As stated , when the pressure is removed the nerve will respond quickly as blood supply is restored to normal .
