See a Provider: I would not use Methergine (methylergonovine) unless you are advised to do so by your provider. Methergine (methylergonovine) is not a benign drug. It can aggravate hypertension. If you are having difficulties post partum, check with your provider. You could have retained tissue from the placenta and that is treated differently.
