Loss of smell: Hello, loss of smell could be a neurological condition related to the olfactory nerve from start to end so to speak. The small branches of the cranial nerve project into the respiratory mucosa high within the nasal cavity. So a loss of smell could be evaluated by a neurologist, an ENT or both.
