A member asked:

How long for lab biopsy of colon?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

1 to 2 days: A colon biopsy is usually processed and reported in 24 to 48 hours. The things that could delay that is if the biopsy goes to a lab in another state for processing. At worst, this should only add another 24 hours to the entire process.
