No - urine test: Firstly you need to know if there is a UTI or not. That requires a urinalysis. Then antibiotics if you have a uti. Also drink plenty of water and urinate every couple of hours. This helps to eliminate bacteria from the bladder. Cranberry juice is useful in preventing a UTI by reducing ability of bacteria to adhere to the bladder lining. It does not treat a uti.
