Varies: Simple extractions should only take a few minutes. Complicated extractions can sometimes take longer, but in general, oral surgeons and experienced dentists can still complete complicated extractions very quickly and with minimal to no discomfort.

how long: After the area is numb the extraction should take anywhere from 1 minute to 1/2 hour....Depending on the complexity of the extraction.
