In a normal: person, they work continuously; more hgh than hcg unless you're pregnant. They should never be taken unless prescribed by a physician for a legitimate medical indication, which is very uncommon. How long they take to "work" depends upon why they are taken, and whether there is a valid medical indication for their use.
