6-8 weeks: Is a typical bone healing time but for fractures that need reduction and or surgery while the bone is mechanically healed after 6-8 weeks i always tell patients that it is several month process and months later before the wrist and hand begin to feel more " normal". Much also depends on the severity if fracture as a simple nondisplaced hairline fracture is very different from one needing operative.
