Usually by pulling: If you have a shoulder dislocation (the ball popped out of the socket) then with a gentle pull on the shoulder we can get it reduced. You may need some sedation to help your muscles relax so that they can do it. Sometimes if the shoulder is really tight or if the bones have been compressed or fractured, you can not get the shoulder reduced just by pulling on it.
