Yes: Dha (docosahexaenoic acid) is an omega 3 fatty acid that is vital to your baby's early neurologic and visual growth/development. It is found in many prenatal vitamins nowadays since it is not a substance that is produced by our bodies naturally. Instead, we must get it from our diet and supplements.

Yes: DHA and EPA are essential fatty acids produced by Krill in the ocean. Any seafood will provide sufficient amounts so that supplements will not be needed, if you eat at last 1 seafood meal/week. Shrimp, scallops, ocean fish of any kind (canned or fresh) are fine, save predators at the top of the food chain--they contain too much toxic mercury to be safe for pregnant women.
