Lupus and psoriasis: Association of psoriasis with systemic and discoid is very uncommon though has occurred .If a suspicion for such is strong it requires thorough evaluation by an expert with clinical exam , blood studies and skin biopsy confirmation.It is important to differentiate as Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine) used for lupus can exacerbate psoriasis and steroids used in both diseases can relapse psoriasis at withdrawal.
